All because we understand the beauty of dressing in a way that makes you feel comfortable and confident.

Many say that when you discover that Busby & Fox’s creator, Emma Vowles, first made her name as a florist, it all makes sense. Shapes, textures and natural shades all work so beautifully together – in the drape of the clothes, in stunning jewellery, in seasonal displays, and in the vintage decor that wouldn’t be out of place in a Paris flea market.

Busby & Fox was inspired by Emma’s roots. Returning home to the rolling hills of South Devon from her career in London’s fashion industry, Emma followed her natural flair for putting together delightful things and built her first business as Emma Vowles Flowers.

A lifelong collector of curios and trinkets (and by then a mum of three little girls) Emma started to introduce homewares and accessories to the collection, followed by clothes... and in 2016, Busby & Fox was born. We've now opened our eighth Busby & Fox store, with more waiting in the wings.

Emma’s passion for creating, curating and beautifying a woman’s wardrobe comes from the heart: her greatest pleasure is to give women the look they’ve always felt they should have and, in turn, empower them to feel their very best.

While we’ve always tried to operate as considerately and ethically as possible, we fully recognise that we have much work to do and even more to learn on the road to being a fully ethical and sustainable business. We’ll be sharing more on our plans to set and reach long term sustainability goals in the coming months.

One initiative that we’re excited to share is our partnership with Ecologi, who enable businesses like ours to have a Climate Positive Workforce®. By funding every one of our employees to join this initiative, we are growing a company forest, and fully offsetting the emissions from our team's personal and professional lives.

We think it’s a pretty impressive initiative, and so do 6,000 other UK businesses who have joined the scheme. As well as reforestation, our participation means some of our profits are funding essential projects supporting communities all over the world which you can read about here.

We’ve also partnered with Eco-cart which allows customers to opt into a carbon-neutral purchase and delivery service when they buy online. You can offset both the production and the delivery of your order, and also help fulfil UN sustainable development goals such as creating jobs and education for local communities and fighting poverty.
