BRAND MARKETING MANAGER - DARTINGTON, DEVON


We're looking for an experienced Brand Marketing Manager to articulate and execute our brand marketing strategy, bringing a definitive understanding of the Busby & Fox customer to the business’s purpose, commercial goals and daily activities. They'll bring leadership, energy and clarity to the practical implementation of our marketing activities and, when it comes to engaging with the customer and growing brand love, be known as someone who gets things done.

It'll be your job to add value by:

  • Owning the brand marketing strategy, ensuring that it is fit for purpose, clearly communicated and understood by all involved in its execution.
  • Designing a plan and calendar of customer communication activity to roll out a sequence of activities, rich in ideas and initiatives that align with the business’s trading calendar, our customers’ lifestyles, our brand values and our commercial goals. This will include:
      • Building and growing the existing CRM and customer loyalty program, adding new opportunities for development and growth, segmenting our audiences to build mutual value and win advocacy through bespoke and customised activity.
        • Running the day-to-day PR and media engagement activity, being the key point of contact for our PR agency and building a strong, productive relationship with that team. Meeting their requirements - and thus those of our journalist community - in a timely and on-brand manner to secure the maximum possible press coverage, often at extremely short notice. Exploring new opportunities and activities and ensuring that a suite of tools and media resources are available, up to date, and fit for purpose;
    • Supporting social media content and driving a programme of influencer partnerships
    • Supporting store trade with a programme of customer events, in-store activity and promotions. Providing relevant marketing activity and communications collateral for use in store
    • Identifying and implementing a programme of events, particularly shopping and customer engagement opportunities
    • Initiating a programme of brand partnerships and collaborations across our various channels
  • Securing the full engagement of all colleagues involved in delivering on the plan, working closely with both head office team members and store staff to ensure results. Participating in training and internal communication to optimise activity and outcomes.
  • Delivering meaningful, relevant reporting, learnings and appropriate follow-through, making it suitable to the various audiences in the business, from directors through to team members.

  • Accurately receiving and processing deliveries to our stores, eCom centre or customers (pick, pack, label, ship)
  • Preparing or completing orders for delivery according to schedule (pack, label, load)
  • Accurately relocating products to different locations within the warehouse
  • Assisting with inventory counts, and working to ensure their efficiency and accuracy
  • Keeping a clean and safe working environment and optimising space utilisation
